June 12 - 14 Musuem of Contemporary Art of Georgia

In June 2008, MOCA GA offered its membership a chance to participate in the "Oracle" project.  This was a fun idea - I set aside three days to be Oracle and take calls from MOCA GA members or new members.  This time, they emailed their question directly to MOCA GA staff while I took photos.  After I had taken all the calls and made the photos, they gave me the questions and I made prints of all the readings.  So callers had to wait until the exhibition to get the answers to their questions. We hung the prints in the Education/Resource Center Project Ramp.  We had an opening reception and I had a fabulous time speculating on interpretations with all the people who had called.

Can we turn Georgia into a blue state this election?

What does this year's future look like?

Will I sell my 5' x 5' painting before I move?

Who will be the next president?

What is the future for public art with the city of Atlanta?

Is this relationship fleeting or is it a strong and true love?

Will my new photography endeavor be successful?

Is now the right time to do the home renovation project we have been planning?

Will I complete a draft of the book in 2008?

Will I find my soul mate?

Do I have a mutant gene?

Where will I find the love of my life and soul mate?

How can I help America shift from the use of fossil fuels to the use of clean energy?

Are there new puppies in my near future?

Would Abraham Lincoln would have approved (of today's politics)?

Will our next child be a boy or a girl?
