So what?

I was thinking about this project this morning

I have my own brushes with coincidence and chance on Oracle day, which is nice so I don't feel left out.  And as a friend pointed out in a conversation last night, coincidences happen, they do.  There are many well-documented examples.  Here's some I experienced on the 7th....

Another artist, a sculptor, often calls me to see if he's going to get a commission or not.  See reading, "Is the Oracle the "kiss of death" for my art deals?  (Wise guy.  He says that every time he's called, he winds up not getting the commission).  Anyhow, he emailed me three photos he sent with his latest proposal - he found the forms in pictures I took for him to be very similar.  Check it out:

Also, I got a call from someone who called before with a question concerning labyrinths.  When she called me Thursday, I was standing in front of a cathedral in Santa Fe, next to....their labyrinth.  Here's the photo I took of it.  Odd, isn't it?  BUT....
My friend said the important question is not how these happen but why.  I would add to that, so what?  Why do these events intrigue us?  Magical thinking is the term for assigning meaning to coincidence.  So I ask you, when you call the Oracle, what are your expectations?  Do we believe the universe is sending us a message?  If so, there's no way you could figure out the message until the situation has passed. Hindsight is 20/20.  Even if the photos strike you like bolts of lightening from the sky, so what?  Would love to hear what you think
